Fruit Cocktail with Edible Flowers

A refreshing drink made with fresh fruit and edible flowers, brought to you by Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 1 baby pineapple
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 0.5 Banana
  • 50 ml rum (add more if desired)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 scoop lemon ice cream
  • 1 glass crushed ice
  • caper flower buds (dried, for garnish)

Instructions

    Peel the pineapple all around with a sharp knife, cut lengthwise into quarters, remove the core and dice the flesh. Cut the orange in half and juice it, do the same with the lemon. Peel the apple, quarter it, core it and cube it. Combine the fruit with sugar, rum and ice in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth.

    Taste and pour the cocktail into a glass. Garnish with a plastic straw and dried caper flower buds and serve immediately.
