Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 220 g sugar
- 4 tbsp orange liqueur
- 150 g flour
- 150 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 275 g butter
- 1 untreated orange (zest)
- butter (for the pan)
- 1 untreated orange (zest and juice)
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 1 orange (for garnish)

Grease the pan well. Beat the eggs with salt, sugar and orange liqueur until creamy. Mix flour, cornstarch and baking powder, stir in spoonfuls into the sugar mixture. Melt butter in a pot and whisk it in thin streams into the batter. Fold in orange zest. Pour batter into the pan and bake for about 1 hour at 170 °C until golden yellow (test with a toothpick).

Let the cake rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then unmold and cool. Slice thick rounds of orange for garnish, arrange on a plate, top the cake with them. For glaze whisk orange juice with zest and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour over the cake and serve.
