Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 250 g Camembert
  • 1 Tbsp soft butter
  • 100 g cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp light beer
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 1 pinch ground caraway
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1 tbsp chives sprigs (for garnish)

  • 8 Amarettini
  • 2 tbsp dry white wine
  • 1 pear
  • 250 g Gorgonzola
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

  • amarettini (for garnish)

Instructions

    For the Camembert obatzda, peel and finely chop the onion. Mash the Camembert with a fork, then mix in the butter, cream cheese, and beer. Stir in about two-thirds of the onion, paprika powder, and caraway. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Serve the obatzda sprinkled with the remaining onions and chives.

    For the Gorgonzola obatzda, drizzle the amarettini with white wine and let sit briefly. Wash the pear, halve it, remove the core, and finely dice the halves. Mash the Gorgonzola with a fork, then combine with the amarettini, diced pear, cream cheese, and plain yogurt. Season with salt and pepper, and serve garnished with pear slices and amarettini.
