Oatry Wheat Rolls
The oatry wheat rolls from Spoonsparrow also work for baking beginners!
Ingredients
- 180 g wheat flour type 1050
- 0.5 cube Yeast
- 1 tsp Honey
- 20 g oat bran (1.5 tsp)
- 0.25 tsp Salt
- 30 g whole oat flakes (2 tbsp)
Instructions

Sift the wheat flour into a large bowl, create a well in the center. Crumble the yeast into it and combine with honey and 150 ml lukewarm water; let rise for 5 minutes.

Process the pre‑mix, oat bran, and salt with the dough hooks of a hand mixer until smooth. Cover with a damp kitchen towel and allow to rise at room temperature for about an hour.

Knead the dough again, folding in half of the oat flakes. Divide into six pieces, shape into rolls, and sprinkle with remaining oat flakes. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cut crosswise with a sharp knife. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
