Oatmeal Breakfast
Oatmeal breakfast with fruit and cottage cheese: This hearty breakfast provides vital substances for a busy morning without hunger.
Ingredients
- 0.5 lemon
- 150 g rolled oats
- 50 g dried cranberries
- 100 ml apple juice
- 50 g walnuts
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 300 g creamy cottage cheese (13% fat)
- 150 g Yogurt (0.3% fat)
- some cinnamon
- 2 pears
Instructions

Squeeze half a lemon. Mix the rolled oats, cranberries, apple juice and 2 tbsp of lemon juice in a bowl and let soak for about 1 hour.

Roughly chop the walnuts and lightly toast them in a pan without fat. Pour the nuts onto a plate to prevent them from over-browning and let cool.

Mix maple syrup, cottage cheese and yogurt with some cinnamon to taste.

Wash the pears, dry them, grate them, cut them into slices from the core and then cut them into thin strips.

Mix all ingredients together and serve in bowls. The muesli can also be refined with berries, bananas or tropical fruits depending on the season and garnished with mint as desired.
