Ingredients

  • 800 ml milk (low-fat)
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 150 g rolled oats (steel-cut)
  • 40 g walnut kernels
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup

Instructions

    Bring the milk to a gentle simmer with the split vanilla pod and oats, stirring occasionally. Let it cook quietly for 10-15 minutes until the oats have absorbed liquid and thickened into a creamy porridge. Add more milk if desired. Remove the vanilla pod and spoon the muesli onto plates.

    Coarsely chop the walnuts and sprinkle them over the muesli along with any remaining oats. Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
