Ingredients

  • 400 g spinach (chopped, frozen)
  • crème fraîche
  • 350 g spiral pasta
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 Eggs
  • 150 g mild Gorgonzola cheese
  • 100 ml milk
  • fat for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

    Cook the pasta according to package instructions in plenty of salted water until al dente. Thaw the spinach and drain it.

    Peel the garlic, then combine it with the cheese, eggs, and milk in a blender and puree. Mix the spinach with the cooked pasta, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to the greased baking dish. Pour the egg mixture over the top and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes.

    Let the gratin rest for another 5–10 minutes before cutting into pieces and serving.
