Ingredients
- 100 g butter
- 150 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 untreated lemon (juice and zest)
- 220 g flour
- 2.5 tsp baking powder
- 130 ml milk
- 125 g powdered sugar
- Colorful chocolate sprinkles
- 1 muffin tin (12 cavities)
Instructions

Whisk softened butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, grated lemon zest, and lemon juice with a hand mixer on low speed for a few seconds.

Sift flour and baking powder over the batter and pour in milk, stirring until combined.

Fill greased and floured muffin cups with batter and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 180°C.

Leave finished muffins in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Sift powdered sugar and mix with 2–3 tbsp warm water until a thick smooth glaze forms.

Coat cooled muffins with the glaze and decorate with colorful chocolate sprinkles as desired.
