Mozzarella Antipasto

Antipasti mit Mozzarella von Spoonsparrow – enjoy the Italian starter for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe medium tomatoes
  • 300 g buffalo mozzarella (or regular mozzarella)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bunch arugula
  • 200 g Parma ham (thin slices)
  • 150 g black olives
  • 0.5 net melon
  • 1 small red bell pepper
  • 1 small jar marinated squid
  • 1 bunch Basil

Instructions

    Wash tomatoes and cut into not too thin slices. Slice mozzarella. Pull basil leaves from stems. Pit melon and cut into wedges. Wash, clean, dry arugula and remove tough stems if needed. Wash pepper and slice into rings. Drain the squid.

    Arrange tomato and mozzarella in a brick‑style pattern on 4 plates, season with salt and pepper, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle basil. Add ham, olives, arugula, melon, squid, and pepper decoratively.
