Ingredients

  • 400 ml Lambrusco
  • 3 tsp liquid honey
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)
  • 600 g Mortadella (whole piece)
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Mix the Lambrusco with the honey and bring to a boil in a pot. Reduce until thick, season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.

    Slice the Mortadella into 0.8 cm thick slices and cut into 2.5 cm pieces. Brown them in a hot pan with butter on all sides, plate, and drizzle with the syrup before serving.
