Ingredients
- 180 g milk chocolate
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 24 wafer sheets
- 1 drop peppermint oil (pharmacy)
- gold glitter (for sprinkling)
Instructions
-
1.
Melt the milk chocolate over a hot, non-boiling water bath. Let it cool slightly, then fill a freezer bag or small squeeze tube and cut off a corner. Use this to spray numbers 1-24 onto parchment paper. Allow to dry briefly, then lay another sheet of parchment on top and gently press flat with a palette. Let the chocolate set.
-
2.
For the peppermint coins melt the dark chocolate over the water bath as well, and use a praline fork to pull the wafer sheets through the chocolate. Place them on parchment to dry.
-
3.
Remove the numbers and place them onto the still slightly soft coins. Press down and dust each with some gold glitter. Let them firm up and package as an Advent calendar to give away.
