Ingredients

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 Avocados
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 handful freshly chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 mini burger buns

Instructions

    Rinse the tuna, pat dry and cut into 8 equal pieces. Mix lime juice with soy sauce and drizzle over the fish. Let sit for about 10 minutes.

    For the salsa, wash the tomatoes, quarter them, remove seeds and dice finely. Peel the avocados, halve them, remove the pit and dice the flesh. Wash the spring onions, trim and finely chop. Combine tomatoes, avocado, coriander, lime juice and remaining oil; season with salt and pepper.

    Slice mozzarella into thin slices.

    Let the fish drain slightly, coat in sesame seeds and briefly sear in hot sesame oil on both sides (about 2 minutes depending on thickness). Top each piece with a slice of mozzarella.

    Toast buns as desired. Slice horizontally and spread salsa. Place a tuna piece on each bun and secure with toothpicks. Serve immediately.
