Millet Porridge with Fruit and Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 4 plums (or fruit of choice)
  • 50 g millet
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 1 vanilla bean (or ½ tsp vanilla powder)
  • 250 ml almond milk
  • ½ tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • a handful of plums (or fruit as desired)
  • walnuts

Instructions

    Wash the plums, remove pits and cut into small pieces.

    Bring millet with the vanilla bean pulp and a cinnamon stick in almond milk to a boil. Reduce heat and add plums. Simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat.

    Finally stir coconut oil and maple syrup into the millet porridge. Garnish with walnuts and fruit as desired.
