Melon Salad with Grapes, Apricots and Figs

Ingredients
- 0.5 watermelon
- 1 sweet cantaloupe
- 250 g light grapes
- 250 g dark grapes
- 500 apricots
- 4 fresh figs
- 250 ml freshly squeezed orange juice (3-4 oranges)
- 2 tsp grated orange zest
- 20 ml orange liqueur
- 100 g sugar
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice

Halve the cantaloupe, remove seeds, scoop out flesh and dice. Core the watermelon, use a melon baller to scoop balls. Remove remaining flesh and dice. Place hollowed watermelon halves in the fridge.

Wash, pit, rinse and pat dry grapes. Wash apricots, halve, remove pits and cut into wedges. Wash figs and quarter them.

Combine orange juice, zest, liqueur, lemon juice and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Mix prepared fruit with the citrus syrup and fill the watermelon halves. Cover and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Serve chilled on crushed ice in a large bowl.
