A fresh fruit dessert featuring honeydew and Charentais melons, citrus juices, orange liqueur, and a touch of sugar, garnished with lavender sprigs.
Ingredients
- 0.5 honeydew melon (with pale yellow flesh)
- 0.5 Charentais melon
- 4 tbsp Lemon juice
- 200 ml apple juice
- 40 ml orange liqueur (e.g., Grand Marnier)
- Sugar to taste
- 4 lavender sprigs for garnish

Scrape out the seeds from the melons and cut 20 balls from each flesh, set aside. Chop the remaining melon flesh into small pieces and blend with lemon juice, apple juice, orange liqueur, and sweeten as desired.

Transfer the sorbet mixture to a shallow metal bowl and freeze for about 3 hours, stirring well every 20‑30 minutes with a fork to prevent large crystals from forming. Serve the sorbet in chilled glasses, topped with melon balls and lavender sprigs immediately.
