Ingredients
- 0.5 ripe melon (cantaloupe)
- juice of one lemon
- 150 ml water
- 4 tbsp sugar

Boil the sugar and water until dissolved. Peel the melon, remove seeds, separate flesh from rind and blend finely in a blender. Mix the fruit puree with the syrup and lemon juice.

Place the mixture in the freezer for about 2–3 hours, stirring vigorously every 30 minutes. Alternatively, churn in an ice cream maker until it reaches a soft granita consistency. Serve garnished with melon slices.
