Mediterranean Green Bean Salad

The Mediterranean green bean salad from Spoonsparrow is always well received!
Ingredients
- 700 g green beans
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 onion
- 100 g turkey bacon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Honey
- 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 120 ml Vegetable broth
- 10 g lemon basil (1 bunch)
Instructions

Trim, clean, and wash the beans; boil in salted water until al dente. Remove, shock with cold water, and drain.

Peel and finely chop the onion; sauté with the bacon in hot olive oil, then drizzle with honey. Deglaze with vinegar, lemon juice, and vegetable broth, seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Combine the onion-bacon mixture with the beans, cover, and let rest for at least one hour. Slice the basil into strips and fold in. Plate and serve.
