Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned roll
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 sprigs parsley
  • 1 egg
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 2 tbsp plant oil
  • 250 ml heavy cream (at least 30% fat content)
  • 250 g plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp medium-hot mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Soak the roll in cold water. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash, dry shake, pluck the leaves from the parsley stems and finely chop them. Squeeze out excess liquid from the roll and mix it with the egg, diced onion and garlic, and parsley; season with salt and pepper.

    Heat oil in a pan and brown the meatball patties 10-15 minutes on all sides. Meanwhile whisk together cream, mustard, yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste. Plate the browned patties with sauce in small bowls and serve.
