Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 0.5 salt
  • 400 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 400 g lamb mince
  • 2 onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder
  • 2 dashes Tabasco
  • Salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 bundle wild garlic
  • 2 egg yolks

Instructions

  1. 1.

Knead the dough from the ingredients, chill for a while. Wash and finely chop the wild garlic.

  2. 2.

Peel and finely dice onion and garlic. Brown in a pan with oil. Add all ground meat and cook until crumbly. Wash, deseed, remove skin of bell pepper, cube it, and simmer about 10 minutes.

  3. 3.

Preheat oven to 180°C, grease about 16 muffin tins. Roll 2/3 of the dough on a floured surface, cut circles ~10 cm diameter, place in tins, leave edges high. Mix cooled meat mixture with chopped wild garlic, fill tins, smooth top. Roll remaining dough for lids. Cut ornaments and place on lids. Press edges firmly together. Pin holes in lids with a fork to vent steam. Brush all with egg yolk, bake at 180°C about 30 minutes. Optionally cover with foil. Carefully lift from tins, serve hot.
