Ingredients

  • 800 g matjes fillet (mildly pickled in saltwater)
  • 1 red beet (fresh)
  • 1 large apple (red‑skinned)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 blue onion
  • 4 tbsp pickled lingonberries
  • 4 leaves of Lollo Bionda lettuce
  • 4 sprigs dill
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • Salt
  • white pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

    Cut the matjes fillets into bite‑size pieces. Peel and dice the beet. Wash, quarter, core, and thinly slice the apple; toss with lemon juice. Trim the onion, halve it, and cut into fine slivers lengthwise. Combine all in a bowl loosely.

    Wash the Lollo Bionda lettuce and shake off excess water. Rinse the dill and trim slightly shorter sprigs.

    Mix yogurt with salad mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, white pepper, and lemon juice; taste and adjust. Fold in the lingonberries and pour the dressing over the salad. Garnish with dill and Lollo Bionda leaves before serving.
