Ingredients
- 800 g waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 200 ml lukewarm milk (3.5% fat)
- 40 g butter (in flakes)
- pepper (ground)
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)

Peel, wash, and cook the potatoes in boiling salted water for about 30 minutes. Drain, let them steam dry, and press through a potato masher.

Combine with milk and butter to form a smooth purée. Season mashed potatoes with salt, pepper, and nutmeg before serving.
