Marzipan Nougat Coins

Ingredients

  • 150 g dark nougat
  • 250 g marzipan raw mass
  • 50 ml orange liqueur
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • powdered sugar (for working)
  • 100 g chopped pistachio nuts
  • colorful candy foil (optional)

Instructions

    Divide the nougat into two portions and shape each portion into a 20 cm long roll with a diameter of 1.5 cm.

    Knead the marzipan raw mass with 2 cl liqueur and powdered sugar, divide it into two portions, and roll each into a rectangle about 6 x 20 cm.

  3. 3.

    Brush lightly with liqueur, place one nougat stick on a marzipan rectangle, and roll it up. Smooth the seam well so it is invisible.

  4. 4.

    Brush the outside of the sticks thinly with liqueur and coat them in chopped pistachios. Cut into 2 cm wide pieces and wrap in candy foil if desired.
