Marinated goat cheese by Spoonsparrow is a simple recipe for a successful antipasti evening!

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp Herbs de Provence (dried)
  • 1 fresh red peppercorn
  • Zitronen (Saft)
  • 1 tbsp red peppercorns
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 6 small French goat cream cheese (or 1 goat cheese roll cut into thick slices)
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 0.5 l olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel the garlic. Wash, seed, and finely chop the peppercorn. Place the garlic cloves and goat cheese in a sealable jar, layering with herbs, peppercorn, pepper, and bay leaves. Mix lemon juice with olive oil and pour over, letting it infuse for about 10 days in a cool place.
