Mango Snails

Ingredients
- 125 g cream cheese
- 100 g Soft Butter
- 200 g Flour
- 50 g sugar
- vanilla beans
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp anise (ground)
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 150 g dried apricots
- 50 g dried mango
- 40 ml rum
- 5 tbsp mango syrup

Cream butter and sugar together, then stir in cream cheese, vanilla bean pulp, and egg yolk. Mix in flour, baking powder, anise, and salt; knead dough well and wrap in foil. Chill for 1 hour.

Coarsely chop apricots and mango, then blend with rum and mango syrup using a hand blender.

Divide dough into two parts and roll each into rectangles 15 × 30 cm. Place on parchment paper, spread half the filling over each rectangle, roll up from the long side using the parchment, cover and freeze for about 20 minutes. Cut rolls into ~5 mm thick slices, place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar, and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 12 minutes.
