Mackerel Cream Cheese Spread

A fresh mackerel cream cheese spread made with smoked mackerel fillets, double cream cheese, whipping cream and dill. Try this and other recipes from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 120 g smoked mackerel fillet
  • 250 g double cream cheese
  • 50 ml whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp chopped dill
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)

Instructions

    Inspect the mackerel fillets for bones and remove skin if desired. Break the fillets into pieces with a fork.

    Whisk the cream cheese and whipping cream until smooth, then fold in the mackerel and dill.

    Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve with raisin bread.
