Ingredients

  • 4 calendula flowers
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 400 g sugar
  • 600 ml alcohol (e.g., Korn)

Instructions

    Remove the petals and simmer with 400 ml water and sliced lemon for about 20 minutes. Let it gently stew, then strain through a linen cloth and bring the juice to a boil again with sugar until fully dissolved. Cool, fill with spirit, and let steep in a cool, dark place for about 4 weeks.

    Transfer into prepared bottles or carafes.
