Ingredients
- 500 g linguine
- Salt
- 4 egg yolks
- 150 ml Heavy Cream
- pepper (ground)
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped basil
- 150 g smoked ham slices
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 50 g freshly grated Parmesan
- basil for garnish
Instructions

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.

Whisk the egg yolks with the heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, then stir in the chopped basil.

Dice the smoked ham into small cubes. Peel and finely dice the garlic. Fry the ham in hot oil in a pan until crisp. Add the garlic, sauté briefly, then toss the drained pasta in the pan. Turn off the heat and fold in the egg‑cream mixture.

Serve on plates, sprinkle with Parmesan and garnish with basil leaves.
