Spaghetti with Tomatoes and Mozzarella

Ingredients

  • 400 g spaghetti
  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 0.5 Bund Basilikum
  • 250 g mozzarella
  • 5 EL Olivenöl
  • Salz
  • Pfeffer (aus der Mühle)

Instructions

    Wash tomatoes, halve them, remove seeds and cut into small pieces. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper.

    Drain mozzarella and dice it. Pick leaves from basil and finely chop them.

    Cook spaghetti in boiling salted water with 2 EL olive oil until al dente, drain and reserve a cup of cooking water. In a bowl mix hot spaghetti with tomatoes, remaining olive oil, reserved cooking water and basil. Season well with pepper and fold in mozzarella. Serve immediately.
