Ingredients

  • 2 bunches lemongrass (Asian market)
  • 4 limes
  • 6 tbsp brown cane sugar
  • 1 bunch mint
  • crushed ice
  • 350 ml orange liqueur (e.g., Cointreau)

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Wash two stalks of lemongrass, pat dry and finely chop. Wash limes, dry rub and cut into pieces.

  2. 2.

    Place a few lime pieces, some lemongrass and 1 tbsp sugar in each glass and muddle with a pestle. Pick mint leaves from the stems and scatter over the glasses.

  3. 3.

    Top with crushed ice. Add liqueur, stir, and garnish with remaining lemongrass.
