Lemon Gin Cocktail

A refreshing cocktail featuring fresh lemons and a hint of Limoncello, brought to you by Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 6 untreated organic lemons
  • 300 g sugar
  • 40 ml limoncello
  • 80 ml gin

Instructions

    Wash two lemons hot and finely grate the zest. Juice all lemons. Dissolve the sugar in 400 ml boiling water and reduce by one-third, let cool slightly and add the lemon juice. Let it cool completely, stir in the Limoncello, pour everything into a bowl and place in the freezer.

    Freeze for 4-5 hours, stirring well every half hour. Rub the rims of 4-6 cocktail glasses with lemon juice and briefly dip them in sugar.

    Fill the lemon sorbet, let it soften slightly, then pour 2 cl gin over each glass. Serve immediately.
