Lentil Pepper Soup

Ingredients
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1.25 l vegetable broth
- 400 g red lentils
- 0.5 tsp cumin (ground)
- 0.5 tsp cardamom (ground)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- 0.5 green bell pepper
- parsley (for garnish)
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a pot, press in garlic and sauté, deglaze with broth. Add lentils, season with cumin, cardamom, and pepper.

Peel the bell pepper with a vegetable peeler and cut into strips.

Season soup with lemon juice and salt, serve on plates, top with pepper strips and garnish with parsley.
