Ingredients
- 400 g flat roastbeef (sirloin) kitchen-ready sliced
- 16 stalks lemongrass
- 1 Lime (juice)
- 4 tbsp rice wine
- 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
-
1.
Rinse the meat, pat dry and slice into about 16 very thin slices. Clean the lemongrass, trim the tips at an angle and cut the sections into fine rings. Wrap each stalk with a steak slice and press firmly. Place in a shallow dish. Mix the sliced lemongrass with lime juice, rice wine and hoisin sauce. Brush the meat with this mixture and let it marinate for about 15 minutes. Then remove from the marinade and sear in hot oil on all sides for 2-5 minutes (depending on desired doneness). Drizzle with the remaining marinade, transfer to a plate and pour over the sauce.
