Ingredients

  • 150 ml lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp grated lemon zest (about 6-7 lemons)
  • 150 g sugar
  • mint sprig
  • lemon peel
  • mint

Instructions

    Add lemon juice and zest with a bit of mint to a bowl, pour in 300 ml water, cover and let steep overnight.

    Boil sugar in 300 ml water in a pot, remove from heat and cool. Strain the lemon mixture through a sieve into a bowl, add the syrup, mix well, transfer to a carafe, chill. Serve with lemon slices.
