Ingredients

  • 150 ml lemon juice (about 6-7 lemons)
  • 3 tbsp grated lemon zest
  • 150 g sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • lemon slice

    Pour the juice and zest into a bowl, add 300 ml water, cover and let steep overnight. In a pot, bring sugar with split vanilla pod and 300 ml water to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Let the syrup cool slightly. Strain the lemon juice into a bowl, add the sugar syrup, mix well, pour into a pitcher, and chill.
