Ingredients

  • 1 Shallot
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 300 g fresh spinach
  • 30 g Butter
  • 200 g ricotta
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • nutmeg
  • 400 g shell pasta
  • butter (for the dish)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven grill. Peel and finely dice the shallot and garlic. Rinse, wash, trim, and dry the spinach.

    In a pot melt butter, sauté the shallot and garlic until translucent, add spinach, cook briefly, then remove from heat. Let cool slightly, chop finely, and mix with ricotta. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

    Cook pasta in boiling salted water to al dente. Drain, rinse under cold water, and place in a buttered baking dish. Fill the shell pasta with the spinach mixture and bake for about 5 minutes under the preheated grill. Remove and serve immediately.
