Ingredients
- 500 g lean lamb meat
- 100 g shelled almond kernels
- 100 g dried plums
- 2 onions
- 2 tsp Baharat spice mix (Turkish grocery store)
- 300 ml meat broth
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 lemon

Cut the lamb into large cubes. Peel and slice the onions into rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic. In a tajine heat the oil and sear the lamb on all sides.

Add the onions and garlic, sauté briefly, then deglaze with broth. Add dried plums, almonds, and Baharat spice mix.

Cover and simmer for about 40 minutes over low heat. Add salt and lemon juice, let rest another 5 minutes. Serve garnished with lemon slices.
