Lamb Raclette

Ingredients

  • 600 g lamb fillet
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 200 ml red wine
  • 200 g Bel Paese cheese
  • 6 tsp walnut oil
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

    Place the lamb fillets with the herb sprigs in a bowl. Peel and quarter the garlic. Add to the lamb fillets and pour over the red wine. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

    Grate the cheese coarsely and set aside. Preheat the raclette appliance. Prepare a small dish of walnut oil.

    Pat the lamb fillets dry and cut them diagonally into pieces. Arrange with the herbs from the Marinade and the garlic.

    Drizzle the lamb pieces with walnut oil and brown them in the raclette pans. Flip once, season lightly with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the meat with herbs and cheese and broil until the cheese is melted.
