Lamb Chops with Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 800 g lamb chops M (8 lamb chops)
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small dried chili pepper
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • oil (for frying)
  • 0.5 bunch arugula
  • 0.5 small frisée salad
  • 4 nasturtium flowers
  • 3 tbsp finely chopped herbs (parsley and chives)
  • 200 g cream cheese (natural)
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Wash the chops, pat dry and place in a shallow bowl. Peel garlic and press into oil. Crumble chili, wash thyme, dry and chop; mix both with spices into the oil. Pour over the chops and marinate for 2 hours.

    From the cream cheese, cut out small pinwheels with two teaspoons and roll them in chopped herbs, place on a herb‑sprinkled plate and refrigerate. Wash and shake dry the salad.

    Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the chops about 2–5 minutes per side to taste. Plate two chops with some salad and cream cheese pinwheels. Drizzle salad with lemon juice and garnish with nasturtium flowers.
