Ingredients

  • 12 slices of toast bread
  • 80 g semi-skimmed margarine
  • 4 head lettuce leaves
  • cucumber salad
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • a few dill sprigs
  • 180 g smoked salmon (sliced)
  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • wooden skewers as desired

Instructions

    Lightly toast the bread slices and trim the edges. Let them cool, then spread semi-skimmed margarine on 8 slices.

    Rinse the lettuce leaves and pat dry with paper towels. Top 4 toast slices with lettuce.

    Wash the cucumber and slice it. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, then arrange dill sprigs on top. Place one toasted slice, buttered side up, over each prepared layer.

    Add salmon on top and spread mustard cream. Cover with remaining toast slices. Gently press together and cut into 4 small squares. Secure with wooden skewers if desired.
