Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp bourbon vanilla
  • 80 g flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 500 g sweet cherries
  • 5 tbsp almond flakes
  • butter (for the pan)

Instructions

    Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla with a hand mixer until fluffy. Add flour, salt, baking powder and milk to the egg mixture. Let rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Wash and pit the cherries.

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a glass or ceramic dish. Pour one-third of the batter into the pan, spread the cherries on top, then pour the remaining batter over them. Sprinkle with almond flakes. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
