Ingredients

  • 1 Kalbshaxe
  • 2 EL Öl
  • Salz
  • Pfeffer (aus der Mühle)

Instructions

    Rub the leg of veal generously with salt and pepper. In hot oil sear all sides until the pores close. Place on a roasting rack in a preheated oven at 120°C with both top and bottom heat and slow braise for about 2–2½ hours.

    Remove and let rest briefly. Slice away from the bone and serve. A fresh mixed salad pairs wonderfully.
