Juicy Cheesecake Bars

Juicy cheesecake bars are perfect as a snack: They contain little fat and calories, but valuable nutrients.

Ingredients

  • 60 g Butter
  • 80 g Zucker
  • 1 sachet Vanillezucker
  • 2 Eier
  • 500 g Magerquark
  • 300 g Apfelmus (without sugar)
  • 125 g Weizengrieß
  • 50 g getrocknete Mango

Instructions

    Combine 50 g butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and the eggs in a bowl and add the quark spoonful by spoonful. Mix briefly but thoroughly with the whisk of a hand mixer.

    Add apple sauce and finally the semolina and mix. Dice the mango and fold it in.

    Grease a rectangular baking pan (20x30 cm) with the remaining butter and fill with the batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan: 160 °C, gas mark 2) for 40 minutes on the middle shelf. If the cake becomes too brown, cover it with a little aluminum foil for the last 10 minutes.

    Let the cheesecake cool slightly in the pan. Halve lengthwise and cut both strips into 6 pieces of about 5x10 cm. Wrap in foil for taking away.
