Italian Seasoning Sauce

Ingredients

  • 10 anchovies (in oil)
  • 6 Garlic cloves
  • 130 ml olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Place the anchovies in a sieve, rinse them under cold water, then pat dry and finely chop. Peel the garlic and slice or cut into pieces. Combine both with the oil in a small saucepan and let it simmer at low heat for 25-30 minutes until colorless.

    Add the butter to the mixture and allow it to melt.

    Serve the sauce with fresh ciabatta, vegetable sticks, chicory or shrimp.
