Ice Pops on Sticks
Making ice pops on sticks is easy with the recipe from Spoonsparrow!
Ingredients
- 100 g butter
- 70 g sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp lemon zest
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g flour
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- butter (for the pan)
- various chocolate glazes (whole milk, dark, white)
- crunchy praline
- chocolate shavings
- sugar pearls
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 175°C with upper and lower heat.

Cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon zest. Separate the eggs. Gradually fold the yolks into the butter-sugar mixture. Mix flour with baking powder and incorporate it. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them in.

Grease the depressions of an ice pop mold (8 cavities, about 50 ml each). Fill the cavities with the batter and smooth the tops. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.

Remove from the oven, let rest for about 10 minutes, then unmold and carefully insert a wooden stick into each ice pop. Allow to cool completely.

Melt each glaze in a double boiler and coat the pops with it. Decorate with praline, chocolate shavings, and sugar pearls. Let dry before serving.
