Honey Bananas with Figs

Ingredients

  • 250 g small bananas (2 small bananas)
  • 4 fully ripe figs
  • 30 g butter (2 tbsp)
  • 30 g almond kernels (2 tbsp)
  • 3 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 tsp white balsamic vinegar
  • 200 g Greek yogurt (10% fat)

Instructions

    Peel the bananas and cut them lengthwise in half. Wash the figs, pat dry, remove stems, and halve them.

    Melt butter in a pan and brown the banana and fig halves on the cut side down over low heat.

    Meanwhile, roughly chop almonds. Mix honey, 2 tbsp water, and balsamic vinegar.

    Arrange bananas and figs on four plates, drizzle with honey sauce, top each with a large spoonful of yogurt, and sprinkle with almonds.
