The Hollandaise sauce from Spoonsparrow always turns out great and is ready in just 30 minutes!
Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 tbsp dry white wine (non-alcoholic)
- 0.5 lemon (freshly squeezed juice)
- salt and pepper
Instructions

Melt the butter over low heat in a pot, bring to a boil once, then skim off the foam with a spoon.

Place the egg yolks and white wine in a metal bowl and whisk vigorously over a bain-marie until frothy.

Add the butter in thin streams while continuously stirring. Season the Hollandaise sauce with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
