Herb Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 kg shrimp
  • 4 sprigs Mint
  • 6 sprigs coriander
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • 4 limes

Instructions

    Peel the shrimp, leaving the tail intact. Rinse under cold water and pat dry.

    Wash the mint and coriander, shake off excess water, chop the leaves. Squeeze half a lemon for juice. Wash, deseed, and finely dice the chili pepper.

    Mix the chili with mint, coriander, 3 tbsp lemon juice, and sesame oil. Marinate the shrimp in this mixture for 30 minutes.

    Brush the grill grates with olive oil. Grill the shrimp over medium heat for 2–4 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining marinade and lightly salting as you go.

    Wash lime wedges hot, pat dry, and cut into slices. Arrange the shrimp with lime wedges on plates and serve.
