Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 EL vanilla sugar
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 EL milk
  • coconut flakes
  • topping cherry

Instructions

    Beat sugar and vanilla sugar with the butter until fluffy, sift in the flour and knead, add milk if needed.

    Shape the dough into rolls about 4 cm in diameter, wrap in foil and refrigerate overnight.

    Cut the rolls into slices about 1 cm thick, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper at slight intervals, bake in a preheated oven at 160°C for about 25 minutes until lightly golden.

    Remove the warm cookies from the tray, roll the side that was against the foil in coconut flakes and top each with a cherry glazed with a little sugar glaze; let cool.
