Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 EL milk
  • 375 g flour
  • 200 g candied fruit (fruit mix)
  • 1 EL jam

Instructions

    Melt butter in a pot, then let it cool. Whisk the cooled butter until frothy. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and milk and stir well. Gradually knead in the flour. Cut some candied fruit into small cubes and fold them into the dough. Shape two rolls of 4 cm diameter from the dough. Preheat oven to 180°C.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice dough rolls into 0.5 cm thick rounds and place on the sheet. Bake for 10 minutes (fan 160°C). Let cool. Warm jam and spread a dollop on each cookie. Cut remaining candied fruit into fine strips. Place two to three strips on each jam dollop. Let dry.
