- 200 g Parma ham (preferably San Daniele, very thinly sliced)
- 1 melon (Charentais melon)
- 8 figs
- Pepper (freshly ground)

Halve the melon, remove the seeds, slice into thin strips and peel. Wash the figs and make crosswise slashes.
